Bouncing, Rolling, and Sweet Potatoes!

...those are pretty much Lucy's three favorite things these days.  Her little jumperoo is about the best thing ever!  She will jump in that thing for an hour straight (stopping every few minutes to stick out her tongue and pant like a dog ... yep, it is just plain hilarious).
Lucy also started rolling over a couple of weeks ago - the look of surprise on her face the first time she rolled over and landed on her back was priceless.  :-)
And I finally found something the girl will eat!!!  Hooray!  Sweet potatoes... who'd have thought?!  Up until this point, getting her to eat her rice cereal or oatmeal has been more or less an impossible feat.  She'll purse her lips together as tightly as she can to avoid getting that stuff in her mouth...I even tried mixing it with bananas (that would have to make it taste better, right?).  I was assuming she just wasn't really ready to be eating solids yet, but I tried sweet potatoes the other day ... and after the initial look of disgust and the gagging noises, she decided those weren't so bad after all!  She ate an entire (baby food) container of them yesterday!  I couldn't believe it.  But if you could only see HOW she eats ... oh, boy.  It has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.  She sticks out her tongue as far as it will go and then tries to lick the sweet potatoes off of the spoon instead of just letting me put the spoon in her mouth.  I have no idea where she comes up with these things, but it sure does keep us entertained! :)~
(Scott says obviously she doesn't like oatmeal and bananas because he doesn't like them, either ... I plan on changing her mind - but we'll see what happens...)

Thank you for your comments!
I love EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. :-)
