My little Lucy is 18 months old today!
The last couple of nights, I've just laid awake being sad again :( She just seems to be growing up SO fast lately. She is saying so many words (not that they necessarily sound exactly right, but she's sure trying!:)-
She spends a good half of her days outside, running around picking up sticks with Stella, dragging around buckets and pitchforks in the barn, throwing dirt in the air (dirt shower!), and playing in any and every puddle or spot of water she can find.
She seems to do something new and gets more entertaining every day! She kisses EVERYTHING - people, animals, books, pictures, toys - it is so cute! I think kissing something has just become her own little way of saying she likes it. :-) She is learning to jump, too (well, she mostly bends down and stands up really fast and thinks she is jumping ... but occasionally her little feet do come off the ground a little bit!).
(sigh)... I could go on and on. But I know there will be more new things tomorrow ... and the day after that...and the day after that, so I'll just stop there for now. :-)
Last week, my mom and Lucy and I went over to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. Those flower fields sure do make for some beautiful pictures! We all enjoyed a nice stroll through the tulips!
