The start of the holiday season ... and a time to reflect on the many blessings in our lives.
I am not one of those ahead-of-the-game bloggers who is fully prepared with amazing ideas to share three months before the holiday I'm posting about ....
Heck, who am I kidding? I'm barely prepared three DAYS ahead of time! HA!
But I do have some great Thanksgiving ideas in mind, and now that life has settled down a bit (hallelujah! volleyball is OVER!), I'm going to work hard to get some of them finished and posted for you to see! :-)
Until then .....
Some THANKFUL inspiration for you to feast your eyes upon. :-)
Love this SO SIMPLE idea from Life at 7000 Feet .... I know from personal experience, even kindergartners can make paper chains! How about a chain of thankfulness???
How can you make an attitude of thankfulness last all year long???
With this fabulous journal from I Love It All!
And not only is this a project you could totally put together yourself, BUT you can also buy your very own customized version from her Etsy shop HERE!
Make 2012 your most grateful year ever! I am so totally doing this!!!
Here's another creative and simple way to keep track of all that your family is thankful for ...a "we give thanks" envelope banner from Make and Takes. I love that you can be as creative as you want to be with this project!
And finally, The Thankful Tree, from Simply Vintagegirl.
I actually made one of these myself a couple of years ago (before I became a blogger and started taking pictures of everything I do!), but I used leaf-shaped cutouts.
Again, a very simple project .... but beautiful and meaningful, all the same.
I hope these have inspired an attitude of gratitude in you as much as they have in me!
And while we're on the topic, I just want to tell YOU how thankful I am for you!
It means so much to me that you tune in to read Little Lucy Lu every day!
